Trip 2010

Letter for ask letter. Trip Itinerary for rough schedule of
events.
Approximately
37 students and adults from Champion traveled to Arizona this year
for our annual mission trip. We
left in April.
This year
we sent a team to Sun Valley, Arizona and stayed at the Sun
Valley Navajo Mission School, to learn about missions and the Native American
Indian culture in the high desert area of Arizona.
This year we went from
April 7th through the 12th. A group of approximately 37
students and adults representing CCHS worked with the students and the staff of
the Mission school. This is a 100 acre facility that the staff
must maintain with over 35 buildings, many aging and in need of
repairs. We will be part of their “Working Witnesses” program
helping with repairs and some reconstruction work, while we stay at
one of the old dorms on the property. We are also focusing on the
Navajo children who are schooled there, and conducting Bible studies
and other ministry programs with them. We will be attending as well
the Native American church there on the reservation with the staff
and children.
This trip will be different in
many ways, and we have chosen it because of those differences. God
calls us to spread His Good News to all people everywhere...so look
out Arizona!
Thanks to those
who made a donation towards our trip. All funds were used
directly for the expenses of the trip and
donated to the missions we are serving.
