It is estimated that attention issues affect about 5% of the children in the country. Approximately 90% of the time it carries into adulthood. This condition is often misunderstood and diagnosis is often avoided. However, when treated effectively (in the vast majority of cases with medication and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) students can manage the disorder and work to become everything that God has designed them for.
