Professionally...
Everyone
likes to think that they are personally making a difference in the
world around us. I cannot remember wanting to be anything other than a
teacher. I have chosen to serve in the realm
of Christian
Education because I believe that we need God in every aspect
of
our daily life. I cannot imagine teaching any subject without
including the evidence that He cares for us. I have never
been
able to accept that it is pleasing to God for us to separate learning
about our world into an educational system that does not include
teaching children about Him. I believe we are
accountable for the way we choose to teach our
children to
live. My relationship with Christ is more than
what I believe and what I say to others, it is a way of
life. I am privileged to have the opportunity
to teach
in a school that can rejoice in God's plan for every
child,
both present and future.
Personally...
I
was raised in Michigan and moved to this area with my husband and
daughter in 1989. Pennsylvania has become my home and we
currently reside in Mt. Pleasant. Our daughter, Elise
attended
CCS
and went on to complete her BA in Psychology and MS in
Counseling.
